NEW AND EXCITING! Perched at the top of the cliff, near the panoramic staircase, the double zipline lets two people simultaneously cross the cove of the falls, some 300 metres in length, to land near the La Baronne viewpoint, not far from the falls.

Heading into the wind with feet dangling in the void, a rush of adrenaline is guaranteed. And the crossing offers both a challenge and a new angle from which to appreciate the height of the falls and its cliffs. The quintessential breath-taking view!

The double zipline can also be done alone.

LIMITED PLACES: book your spot!

Three via ferrata circuits have been built in the Boischatel fault, near the falls. A hiking trail on rock wall, accessible to all, that promises a dazzling view of the cove and Île d’Orléans.

Tied into a safety tether with a professional guide during the entire hike, participants will enjoy an exclusive experience in a small group.

In winter, the hiking trails are accessible on foot or on showshoes. Go for a walk to the park's cove and admire the falls from several vantage points. Amid snow and ice, the water still surges over the falls. You might see a few ice climbers moving about on the frozen rock faces...

Discover the park's cove and admire the falls and the famous Sugar Loaf from a spectacular wintry standpoint! The trails (3 km length) are used by people traveling on foot or on snowshoes. You can rent snowshoes at Manoir Montmorency. Climbing the Sugar Loaf is not permitted without a guide.

In winter, ice climbers tackle the frozen rock faces of the cliffs on each side of the falls. Introductory courses are available through the climbing school, l'Ascensation, run by François-Guy Thivierge. Those who would like to do free climbing must book a climbing route. The open air, a stroll outdoors, and a panoramic view-what a way to whet your appetite! Parc de la Chute-Montmorency is a dream location for a family picnic. Tables are available for visitors at several site locations. A big tent near the Manoir is also open to the public. It's perfect in the event of bad weather.

At the sandwich shop in the cable car station, you’ll find sandwich-type menus, beverages and frozen treats. There are also a snack bar and a dairy bar on the site.

Three playgrounds are available for young children.

Trails 0.5 to 3 km long criss-cross the park. Go for a stroll to see the falls and the site's curiosities from many angles. As you walk along the cliff on the promenade, you’ll eventually cross the suspended footbridge and feel the thunder of the falls rumble beneath your feet. Exceptional panoramas are yours to discover! For a good physical workout, try the panoramic stairs with its 487 steps from the bottom to the top of the park. It snakes its way up the side of the cliff, enabling you to see and hear the powerful falls.

Two bike paths cut through the park: one above the falls and the other below. The one below runs by the river along Route 138. It links Domaine Maizeret to Côte-de-Beaupré while going by Montmorency Falls. Above the falls, the other path follows Avenue Royale through Beauport. It leads to Boischatel and the Côte-de-Beaupré plateau.

To fully enjoy your visit, choose the panoramic circuit, including the cable car ride that will take you to the Manoir while admiring the scenery and an 83 metre high waterfall.

Inside the Manoir, an interpretation centre recounts the history of this incomparable heritage site.

Via the promenade along the cliff, you will reach the suspension bridge where you will feel the waterfall as it roars beneath your feet. In the winter, the falls are fabulous. In very cold weather, fine splashes from the falls freeze and eventually form the famous Sugar Loaf, an impressive cone of ice at the foot of the waterfall. On the way back, take the walk to the Manoir.

Choosing Manoir Montmorency for your Sunday brunch means opting for a variety of breakfast-style dishes and a fruit bar. Gourmet crepes, a selection of home-smoked fish, fine cheeses from Québec, and a decadent desert table, without forgetting the Manoir’s unique tourtière (a typical local meat pie), are also on the menu.
